Brinkmann Sees US Mortgage Rates Above 5% in 2011
Jan. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Jay Brinkmann, chief economist at the Mortgage Bankers Association, talks about the Federal Reserve's Beige Book report and the US housing market. The Fed said holiday-season spending and increased manufacturing drove an economic expansion across the US in November and December, with businesses cautiously optimistic about their 2011 outlooks.
